- There is no account or login, and your game progress is stored only on your device.
- The developer does not collect or keep any personal information.
- The Game has optional rewarded ads (Google AdMob). To prepare and show them, Google processes device information such as your advertising ID.
- You can use every feature of the Game without watching ads.
1. Information we collect
The developer of "Matjip Building Story" (the "Game") does not collect or keep personal information such as names, email addresses, phone numbers, contacts or photos. However, the advertising service included in the Game (Google AdMob) processes the information described in section 3 in order to show ads.
2. Information stored on your device
The Game saves your progress (gold, gems (paid and free tracked separately), floors, furniture layout, daily request and stamp progress, purchase processing records, settings, and the time you last played) in the app's private storage on your device. It is used only to let you continue playing and is never sent to anyone, including the developer. You can delete it at any time with "설정 (Settings) → 처음부터 다시 하기 (Start over)" in the Game or by uninstalling the app.
If you have turned on your device's backup features (for example Google account backup or device-to-device transfer), Android may include this saved data in your backup. That backup is managed under your account and Google's policies; the developer cannot access it.
3. Advertising (Google AdMob)
The Game has rewarded ads that play only when you tap a button ("double sales for 5 minutes", "get one more daily request (once a day)"). So that an ad is ready when you ask for one, the Game loads ads in advance while it is running and connected to the Internet. During this, even if you never watch an ad, the Google AdMob SDK collects the following information and sends it to Google:
- Device identifiers: advertising ID, app set ID
- Approximate location: a region estimated from your IP address (the Game does not request precise location permission)
- App activity: ad interactions such as ad requests, impressions, views and taps
- App info and performance: device model, OS version, network state, and diagnostics such as errors and performance data
This information is used to deliver and measure ads, for analytics, and to prevent fraud. On Android devices, Android's privacy-preserving advertising features (Privacy Sandbox: Topics and Attribution) may be used. The information is encrypted in transit, and how long it is kept and how it is processed are governed by How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services and the Google Privacy Policy. The developer does not receive or keep this information.
Users in the European Economic Area (EEA), the United Kingdom and Switzerland see a consent form before ads are loaded, and can change their choice at any time in "설정 (Settings) → 개인정보 옵션 (Privacy options)" in the Game. You can reset or delete your advertising ID in your device's ad settings (depending on the device, "Settings → Privacy → Ads" or "Settings → Google → Ads"). You can use every feature of the Game without watching ads, and no ad-related information is sent while your device is offline.
3-2. In-app purchases (gems)
You can buy gem packs and a starter pack through Google Play in-app billing. Payments are processed by Google Play; the developer does not receive or store card numbers, bank details or other payment information. Information that Google processes during payment is governed by the Google Privacy Policy and the Google Play Terms of Service.
To confirm a purchase and deliver gems, the Game processes order information (order ID, product, purchase time and purchase state) on your device only, and records it in the app's private storage to prevent duplicate delivery. This information is not sent to anyone, including the developer. You can view it under "상점 (Shop) → 보석 (Gems) → 구매 내역 (Purchase history)" in the Game, and it is deleted when you uninstall the app.
Gems and items bought with gems are stored on your device. They may be restored from a device backup, but this is not guaranteed. The starter pack's exclusive decoration can be restored from your Google Play purchase record. Refunds follow Google Play's refund policy.
3-1. Other external services
Apart from ads and Google Play billing, the Game contains no other third-party services such as analytics, crash reporting or social login. Information that Google Play processes when you install or update the app is covered by the Google Privacy Policy.
4. Children's privacy
The Game is intended for users aged 13 and over and is not directed to children under 13. The developer does not directly collect personal information from anyone, including children, and the Game requests only ads suitable for a general audience (G rating).
5. Your rights
The developer holds no personal information about you, so there is nothing to access, correct or delete on our side. You can delete the game data stored on your device yourself (see section 2). You can manage ad-related information processed by Google by resetting or deleting your advertising ID (section 3) and in Google My Ad Center.
6. Changes to this policy
If a future update changes how information is handled (for example by adding in-app purchases or online features), this policy will be updated with a new effective date before that update is released.
